A Very Speakeasy Halloween (Saturday, October 24th)

Step out of the North County fog and into the tasting room for a night where the spirits we pour are matched only by the spirits in the room. On Saturday, October 24th, from 6 PM to 10 PM, we are throwing a Halloween Party. We’re keeping the doors open late for this one, right here at our home base: 2332 La Mirada Dr, Ste 800, Vista, CA 92081.

As Rule #5 from "The 117º West Speakeasy Rulebook" reminds us: “There’s no rush—only pours”. Time behaves differently inside these walls, making it the perfect excuse to leave the outside world behind, bring your best disguise, and let the evening stretch out. We will have a live DJ setting the mood while you sip on our specially crafted spooky cocktails. This is the ideal night to invoke Rule #4: “Order something you didn’t plan to”. You might walk in thinking of your usual whiskey, but let the bartender raise an eyebrow and suggest an eerie, off-menu concoction to match the mood.

Think your disguise has what it takes? We’re hosting a costume contest to see who truly brought their A-game. And because our community includes everyone, this event is completely family friendly, so the kids are welcome to get in on the fun too. Rule #3 states, “The regulars were strangers once,” meaning whether you're a long-time Barrel Club member or it's your first time crossing our threshold, this is where you belong.

Here are the official details so you can start plotting your evening:

• When: Saturday, October 24th

• Time: 6 PM – 10 PM

• Where: 117º West Spirits, 2332 La Mirada Dr, Ste 800, Vista, CA 92081

• Entertainment: Live DJ and a Costume Contest

Rule #2 says it best: “Your seat is waiting”. We’ll have the barrels resting, the music spinning, and a glass ready for you.
